We all love to add accessories to our closet, let’s learn how to make something new from something old! Follow along with Jesse Beardslee, owner of sustainable style biz Themis and Thread, as she walks you through lessons in upcycling old or damaged garments from your personal collection. Today’s lesson is Upcycled Dress Waistband or Separate Belt.

This three part series will offer lessons in upcycling, embellishment and garment construction. Create either one dress, or three separate pieces.  Offering these options will allow for discovery even if you miss a class!
Break out your sewing machines- it’s #SeWednesday!

Each class will premiere on the Library’s YouTube channel at 6:00PM on the event date.
Of course you can watch the lesson again and again any time after that.
Please check out the other vids on our channel, which include art, crafts, baking, and more.
